IDA VFX LAB

SCRAMBLER – Field Test

Take control of the Scrambler – a six-legged heavy walker modelled, rigged and painted by IDA VFX – and stomp across three worlds, right in your browser. No download, no install.

What awaits you

  • Real-time leg rig – every leg finds its footing on the terrain with live inverse kinematics, from hip, knee and mid joint down to the foot pad.
  • Three worlds – the airless Moon with ballistic dust, Mars with its butterscotch sky, dust devils, Phobos & Deimos and endless boulder fields, and Earth.
  • Laser cannon – aim with your mouse and blast rocks out of your way: spiral beams, shattering debris and shockwaves.
  • Robot radio voice – a synthesized combat AI that never says the same line twice.
  • Gait Lab – tune stride, leg lift, weight and gravity, and watch the machine change its walk.

Controls: WASD walk · Shift sprint · Mouse aim · Left click fire · Right-drag camera · Space stomp · C cockpit view · P photo mode. On phones, use the on-screen buttons.
